When I hear voting rights, I think of America, the land of the free birth from the belief in God, we trust. The injustice society faces today contradicts the biblical foundation America, was built upon. We are dealing with a nation in this 21st that has forgotten the development of the United States of America. How in the early 1700 surrounding countries Spain, France, and England desired to form “New World” of unity with America government to bring different cultures together in freedom. This movement led to the beginning of America Revolution which included The Second Continental Congress, America becoming independent from Great Britain, known as The Declaration of Independence. The independence of America in 1777 was designed to shape the government to create a new country. As the government grew section was divided into groups, the U.S Constitution began to form laws to discipline the government. Magna Carta, law was signed into order on the 12th day of June 1215 by King John, this decree enforced that even the king had to obey the law.
I believe the government in this 21st century has forgotten the purpose of the Constitution and the fundamental concepts of the Magna Carta, this was not for the people; it is a semi form of the Ten commencement for the government.
The Fifteenth Amendment which was established in 1870 states that you should not be limited to voting right because of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.
I said all that to say this how a country who fought for independence, freedom to have a right to be involve with society making laws. How can the government hinder the African American voting rights in this 21st century, have you forgotten we helped fight for the independency of American while still begin slaves? How can this 21st century government forget the biblical foundation America was bult upon the bible said in? (John 8:36) “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (Proverbs 25:21) “if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.” How can we be united and stand as a nation in God divided by laws racial indifference? Let’s stand in truth united honoring what our ancestor fought for equal opportunity.
